Engr. Golam Fakhruddin Ahmed Chowdhury is a highly experienced former government official with over 35 years of career in the Bangladesh Civil Service (Telecommunications) cadre. He served as the Additional Secretary and Project Director for the Padma Bridge Rail Link Project connecting Dhaka to Jessore, under the Ministry of Railways, where he successfully negotiated the loan agreement with the Exim Bank of China and completed the major portion of the project before his retirement.

He also served as the Managing Director of BTCL and held top management roles in multiple departments, including IT. Finance, and Marketing, at Teletalk Bangladesh Limited. Additionally, he worked in key positions within the ICT Division and the Bangladesh Accreditation Board. Currently, he is the Chairman of Golden-Horn Technology Ltd, a private company focusing on renewable energy and technology solutions.

Engr. Chowdhury completed his B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from BUET, an MBA in Finance from IBA, University of Dhaka, and a Master of Information Technology (MIT) from University of South Australia. He has also taken advanced training in cybersecurity and IT policy in the USA, UK, and France.
